The Saturday Schools offer classes from 9 am to 12 pm on Saturdays at 10 different campuses throughout the Southland. The Kinderland Schools offer their program twice weekly, either from 9 am to 12 pm or 2 pm to 5 pm, depending on the location. Our school year coincides with the public school calendar.

House of Germany - San Diego
As part of the International Cottages in Balboa Park, San Diego, the Kinderwerkstatt at The House of Germany offers German language instruction to students between the age of 4 and 14 on specific days throughout the week.

Albert Einstein Academies ( San Diego)
The Albert Einstein Academy Charter School opened its doors to San Diego children in September 2002. On March 8, 2005, the San Diego Unified School District awarded the school its own site at an available school campus located at Ash and 30th on the edge of Balboa Park. This site is within 1 1/2 miles from the zoo, multiple museums, the symphony hall, and downtown San Diego and provides an outstanding location for the school’s multi-lingual, multi-cultural focus.

Cabrillo Elementary School (San Diego)
Cabrillo Elementary, a public elementary school is located in the La Playa neighborhood of Point Loma and is one of the oldest schools in San Diego. Since 2013 the school offers a German language instruction on a full-time basis. The school offers a German language program as well as cultural enrichment classes.

Tivoli Rainbow Garden Preschool (L.A.)
The school is a mixed-age group of children from 2 ½ years up to kindergarten age with a play-based and developmentally oriented curriculum. The children will explore who they are and what they can do. Ilka Sternberger and her staff also offer a German-language program during school hours and after. Enrollment is for 2, 3, or 5 days per week. The Location is very central, south of Washington Bl. and east of Lincoln Bl .

Kigala Preschool (L.A.)
In these programs, the child will be exposed to the Spanish or German language and also have the opportunity to enrich their English language skills. The teacher speaks both English and the new language to introduce the child to either Spanish or German. The child needs no prior Spanish or German language knowledge in order to participate in these programs.
