The German School Association of Southern California, Inc. (GASA) offers classroom-based German language programs to children ages 4 – 17 years in its Saturday Schools, ages 3 – 5 years in its Kinderland School and after school programs at different locations. Parent & Me classes for children 1-3 years old are currently provided in Brea / Anaheim Hills. Please check the website for specific locations and times.

GermanSchoolCampus – Newport Beach
German School campus Newport Beach is a Language school open to all students who desire to master the German Language or to enhance their German language skills. We offer classes to native and non-native speakers from 4 years to 17 years old. Each Level of your German studies will culminate in the corresponding German Exam. A1, A2, DSDI- B1 through DSDII B2/C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFRL) and AATG Level 1 to 4. German School campus has open enrollment.

The German Pacific School San Diego (GPSSD) is a Language school open to all students who desire to master the German Language or to enhance their German language skills. The GPSSD offers classes to native and non-native speakers from 2 1/2 years old through adults. The GPSSD offers classes on different levels on Saturday mornings, weekday afternoons and weeknights as well as field trips and camps with focus on education about German language and culture. GPSSD brings The STEM curriculum into the German classroom setting. Science experiments conducted in German will teach children about science all in German. As part of the International Cottages in Balboa Park, San Diego, the Kinderwerkstatt at The House of Germany offers German language instruction to students between the age of 4 and 14 on specific days throughout the week.

The Albert Einstein Academy Charter School opened its doors to San Diego children in September 2002. On March 8, 2005, the San Diego Unified School District awarded the school its own site at an available school campus located at Ash and 30th on the edge of Balboa Park. Tivoli Rainbow Garden Preschool (L.A.)

Highland Hall Waldorf School (San Fernando Valley)
A fully-accredited Waldorf school in the San Fernando Valley that runs from the Parent/Child and Nursery classes up through the 12th grade. From 1st – 8th grade, the children have German and Spanish lessons twice a week each. Students continue to study both languages until the end of 8th grade. In the high school, the students choose one language and study it for all four years. The school regularly sends high school students on exchange programs with schools in Germany.
