Der Knopf

(Ein Gedicht von Dieter Kermas)
.

Rutscht das Beinkleid, weil zu lose,
fehlt der Knopf an dieser Hose.
Hieran sieht man klipp und klar,
wie der Knopf doch wichtig war.

Ein Hosenknopf wird kaum betrachtet
und selten wird sein Tun beachtet.
So hält er fest, so gut er kann,
gibt Sicherheit dem Hosenmann.

Vor jedem Fest auf dieser Welt
wird er geprüft, ob er noch hält.
Wie würde man sich wohl genieren
beim Tanz die Hose zu verlieren.

Und folgt darauf an diesem Tage
das lang ersehnte Festgelage,
stopft man sich voll, ganz unbeschränkt,
am Bauch fühlt man sich eingeengt.

Aufgeknöpft wird nun der Bund.
Ein Seufzer tut die Wohltat kund
und belohnt den kühnen Mut
mit dem Satz: „Tut das gut!“

Ein Knopf muss fest sein, bis zum Schluss
und Freiheit geben wenn er muss.
Weil er entspannt ist, kann der Magen
jetzt die Torte noch vertragen.

Drum behalte stets im Kopf,
wie wichtig ist so ´n kleiner Knopf.
Festgenäht wird er dir geben
sichern Halt durchs ganze Leben.
