World Cup in California

World Cup 2010

June 12, 2010 by Cornelia Leave a Comment

Did you catch the World Cup fever yet? The first thing I find happening in my house recently is that the TV is on already in the early morning hours and, family members one thought of never being able to get up early ever before, are now excitedly gathered around the TV watching the World Cup!

Tomorrow is Germany’s first game against Australia! For all of those who would like to watch the games on a big screen there a different options for getting together with others like minded. Many German Clubs or Restaurants are offering special menus while watching the games on a big screen. The Phoenix Club in Anaheim CA promises to have the perfect soccer experience in their Loreley Restaurant. Games are featured on a big screen TV while visitors can enjoy the restaurant’s menu. The Old World Restaurant in Huntington Beach has a World Cup Special as well. Also there you can follow the games on a big screen. Breakfast and coffee is being served and the bar is open as well.

To find out where some World Cup Viewing Parties are happening in the greater LA area check out LA Galaxy or check out the Discover Los Angeles website for restaurants and bars dedicated to showing the World Cup. Northern Californians can find their party on the San Jose Earthquakes Team’s site.

Want to watch the World Cup in style of our German National Soccer Team, find the perfect outfit at the WorldSoccerShop.

So get ready for tomorrow. Go Germany!World Cup 2010
